O’Level results is one of the important documents you need before you can be admitted into any institution in Nigeria. Jamb needed your O’Level results in order to confirm whether you’re qualified to be given admission by your chosen institution and whether you have the O’Level requirements needed to study your preferred course, until this is done, Jamb will not validate your admission.
I’ve uploaded my results during registration, do I need to upload again?
The answer lies in whether your results was truly uploaded or not, you have to confirm First.
Here I’m going to take you through how to confirm whether your results have been uploaded to Jamb portal. Your O’Level is in the Central Admission Processings (CAPs) page. Lets check it.
Step 1: Preferably use Chrome Browser, Opera, or a Laptop. Set the browser to desktop mode. You need this so that the page will load in full on a phone.
-You can do this by clicking on the “options” button on your browser (it’s either 3 vertical dots or red arrow by top right, beside the tabs key)
-Scroll down and mark “Desktop Site”
Step 2: (do not skip step 1). Login to your portal page https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility
Step 3: Click on the “Check Admission Status” this leads to CAPs gate.
Step 4: Select admission year “2020”, then Type your UTME Registration Number in the provided box.
At this page, while you type your registration number, do not close your keyboard, don’t press the back button, such that your cursor is on the last letter.
Step 5: Click on “Acess my CAPs” You will be directed to CAPs homepage.
Step 6: Click on “My O’Level” by the top left. Your O’Level should display, including your examination number and UTME registration number. If the page doesn’t load in full and you saw only “Welcome”, go back to Step 1.
Step 7: Your results should display as above. It it shows “No results uploaded” then you need to upload.
Step 8: Proceed to the nearest Jamb Accredited CBT centre, Office or Send me a message for the results uploading. You’ll need the WAEC or NECO results and Your Profile code, the price ranges from #200 -#1000 depending on the location and CBT center.
Note: You can’t do uploading with your phone and Cybercafe can’t do it, Visit the nearest CBT Centre or Send me a message for the service.
